King attends might military drill

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Monday attended a military drill performed by a joint special operations unit.

Before the drill got underway, His Majesty was briefed on the exercise and its various stages. The drill included the delivery of airborne forces and night assault operations covered by attack helicopters and jet fighter employing various weapons and state-of-the-art military technology used in night operations.

His Majesty commended the distinguished level the Joint Special Operations and Royal Air Force reached in terms of high-level skills, coordination of joint night operations and fire precision and accuracy.

The King also attended the graduation ceremony for an aviation training course at the Prince Hashem Special Operations School.
