Cold weather prevails today, unstable conditions on the way

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday in the mountainous areas and the desert regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital and northern region will reach 16 degrees Celsius, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 23.
Temperatures are forecast to at night reaching 3 degrees in the capital and in the northern areas, while it will dip to one degree below zero in the southern parts; therefore frost formation is forecast in most parts of the country, the JMD added.
Unstable weather conditions are expected to start affecting the country Wednesday afternoon, therefore it will be cold with cloudy skies and rain showers extending from the southern and eastern areas to the central and northern parts, it added.
Similar cold weather is forecast to continue on Thursday, with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds.
