Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will plummet on Thursday, bringing chilly conditions with cloudy skies across the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Heavy rain accompanied with thunder and hail are also forecast, with snowfall on areas located 900 meters above the sea level and frost formation after midnight.
Chilly and partly cloudy weather are also expected to continue over the weekend, with northwesterly moderate winds and frost formation in most parts of the country, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 4 degrees Celsius dipping to one degree below zero and in the southern areas they will register a high of 9 degrees, dropping to minus 3 at night. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will range between a high of 18 and a low of 9, the JMD said.
