Drop in temperatures, rain expected over next two days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather prevails in hilly areas on Saturday, while it will be fair in the Badia and eastern plains, and warms in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Light rain is expected in various parts of the Kingdom tonight with north westerly moderate winds.

A in temperatures is expected on Sunday with cold and partly cloudy conditions and intermittent rain, especially in the western regions. Winds will be north westerly moderate to brisk raising dust in the southern and eastern regions.

Similar conditions prevail on Monday with a continued chance for rain accompanied by thunder and hail, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 4 degrees while the highs in Aqaba will reach 24 degrees dropping down to 11 degrees at night.
