Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Senate President Faisal al-Fayez, Wednesday, held talks with President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Federal National Council, Amal Al Qubaisi, on various political and socio-economic issues between the two countries.

Talks also dealt with regional issues witnessed by the Arab nation. In this context, Al-Fayez said: "Our Arab nation is going through various crises and conflicts which require unity and together face attempts aimed at undermining our stability".

He emphasized that Jordan rejects any interference in the local affairs of Arab Gulf countries. He said Jordan seeks to restore peace and security to the region and eliminate terrorism and extremism.

Al Qubaisi commended Jordanian-UAE ties and said the Federal National Council will work with the Senate to boost coordination and cooperation at various levels. She also said her country is keen supporting Jordan and protecting its security and stability.
