Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Court of Cassation on Monday upheld death sentence by hanging against 5 members of the "Irbid terrorist cell" case.
The terrorists committed acts, that led to the death of an officer, made explosives for use in such acts, possessed arms and ammunition with the intent to be used in terrorism acts, conspiracy to commit terror attacks or promotion of the ideology of a terror organization.
The State Security Court (SSC) on December 28, 2016 sentenced the five terrorists to death by hanging.
The SSC also handed prison terms ranging from 3 to 15 years to another 15 defendants who were found guilty.
