Parliamentary committee highlights strong Jordanian, French ties

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Head of the Parliament's Foreign Affairs Raed Khaza'leh highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and France.

At a meeting with French Ambassador to Jordan David Bertolotti on Thursday, he stressed the need to further boost relations with France, mainly in the parliamentary field.

Khaza'leh said that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, achieved political reforms despite the current situation in the region, mainly the Syrian crisis.

On efforts to fight terrorism, he said all Jordanian stand behind their leadership as well as the army and security agencies to counter terrorism and extremis that threaten global security and peace.

Khaza'leh also affirmed the importance of reaching a just and comprehensive peace to the Palestinian issue.

The ambassador praised his cuntry's relations with Jordan and voiced France's support to the Kingdom in various fields.
