Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister, Hani Mulki, said the government would not allow anyone to harm the interests of citizens and investors or delay their work.
During visits to Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC), Greater Amman Municipality and the Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD), the prime minister said some measures led to have halting work and achievements and this must be addressed immediately.
Mulki stressed the need for government measures to be designed in a manner that never allows corruption, noting that there are employees in some government departments and institutions who disrupt the interests of citizens and investors, in order to get some of a so-called "tip".
On the other hand, the prime minister said honest employees should be rewarded, honored and celebrated, and, at the same time, the corrupt employees should have their names and pictures published after being guilty by evidence.
He also stressed the need to strengthen measures to combat tax evasion, adding that those who make wrong or inaccurate declaration of tax will be referred to the prosecutor immediately.
Mulki also emphasized applying the law on everyone, so that the citizen feels that he lives with dignity in a country of justice and rule of law, noting that "officials are servants of the citizens."
