Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will be affected by a cold front that will bring heavy rain to the northern regions gradually extending to other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily update.
Winds will be northwesterly brisk blowing dust in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom.
Temperatures will further later in the day and Saturday with rainfall in most parts of the Kingdom. Snowfall is also expected in hilly areas up to 800 meters above sea level, while winds will be westerly to north westerly moderate to brisk.
A further in temperatures is expected on Saturday as the effect of the cold front continues. Therefore, the weather will be cold and cloudy with rain accompanied by thunder across the Kingdom. Snowfall is also expected in hilly areas in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom.
The weatherman warns of poor visibility due to fog and of flash floods in low-lying areas.
Temperatures in Amman for the coming three days will reach a high of 9 degrees Celsius and a low of 1 at night.
