Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan's Ambassador to Egypt Ali Al Ayed presented his credentials to Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul Gheit as the Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League.
At a meeting with the Arab League chief in Cairo on Thursday, Al Ayed stressed the pivotal role of the Arab League in enhancing joint Arab action and expressing hopes and aspirations of all Arabs.
"Jordan, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, attaches importance to joint Arab work," he added.
The Arab League chief praised Jordan's role in promoting joint Arab action at all levels.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed preparations for the Arab summit that will be hosted by Jordan in March.
