Rise in temps Wednesday, snow fall forecast over weekend

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to rise 6-7 degrees above their annual average, bringing relatively warm conditions across the Kingdom, but slight chance of drizzle remains in different parts of the Kingdom, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
Temperatures in Amman for today are expected to range between a high of 19 degrees Celsius and a low of 7, and between 20 degrees and 5 in the northern regions. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 26 degrees, dropping to 12 at night, the JMD said.
A tangible in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, returning back to their annual average and creating partly cloudy conditions with a chance of showers in different parts of the Kingdom.
A cold air mass accompanied by a depression is expected to affect the country Thursday night, causing a in temperatures and bringing heavy rain in different parts of the Kingdom, the JMD said. Winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at night and blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions.
Temperatures will further on Friday, bringing cold, cloudy and rainy conditions across the country with heavy rain during late night hours accompanied with hail, thunder and lightening.
Snow fall is also expected Friday night in the hilly areas across the country, accompanied by northwesterly winds with speeds between 60-80 Km/ hour, blowing dust in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom.
