Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Chilly conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in the highlands, while it will be relatively cold and partly cloudy in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will tangibly during the night forming frost in most parts of the country with a weak chance of snow over the northern hilly areas.
A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday, but it will remain cold with clouds at various altitudes and gusty winds in most parts of the country .
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in the capital and the southern region will reach 8 degrees Celsius, dropping to 1 degree in Amman and 2 degrees below zero in the southern parts. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register 18 degrees, sliding to 7 at night, the JMD added.
