Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A in temperatures is expected on Sunday and Monday to become 3-4 degrees below their annual average; therefore chilly conditions will prevail across the Kingdom with low clouds and gusty winds .
Scattered showers are also expected after midnight with frost formation in the desert areas, eastern plains and over the highlands, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 9 degrees Celsius dropping down to 3 degrees at night, in the southern and northern parts they will register 10 degrees dropping to 2 degrees in the southern regions and 4 in the northern parts. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will stand at 20 degrees during daytime, sliding to 9 at night .
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Tuesday, but it will remain cold in most parts of the country with brisk winds and frost formation after midnight, the JMD added.
