Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold conditions are expected to continue Saturday in most parts of the Kingdom, with southwesterly moderate winds blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions.
According to Jordan meteorological Department(JMD), temperatures will after midnight creating frost in the desert region, the hilly areas and the eastern plains.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 3, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will reach 21 degrees during the day dropping down to 8 degrees at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures are forecast to 4-5 degrees below their annual average on Sunday, bringing chilly conditions in the hilly areas and cold in other parts of the country. Winds will be southwesterly moderate with blowing dust mainly in the southern and eastern regions.
Scattered showers are also expected in the northern parts of the kingdom, the JMD forecast.
Chilly conditions are expected to continue on Monday with drizzle in the northern parts of the Kingdom and gusty winds in the southern and eastern regions.
