King invites Moroccan monarch to attend Arab summit

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco on Friday received an invitation from His Majesty King Abdullah II to attend the coming Arab Summit, slated to be held in Amman next March.

The invitation was extended to King Mohammed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh.

Judeh delivered the good wishes of King Abdullah to the Moroccan monarch and to the people of Morocco.

Judeh said that King Mohammed's participation in the summit will enrich its deliberations thanks to his wisdom and expertise. Further, the minister reiterated the depth of ties between the two kingdoms and Jordan's keenness to bolster these ties in various domains.

King Mohammed, on his part, extended his good wishes to King Abdullah and voiced hope that Jordan would host a successful summit.

Further, the Moroccan monarch deplored recent terrorist attacks in Jordan, and extended his condolences to the Jordanian leadership and people over the victims of these terrorist crimes.
