Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Border Guards aborted last night, an attempt to smuggle drugs by two persons who tried to infiltrate from Syria into Jordan, according to a military source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
The Border Guards applied the rules of engagement and arrested the two after injuring one of them.
After searching the area, the troops found 320 bags of hashish, 332,000 Captagon pills, an automatic weapon, and ammunition, and referred them to concerned authorities.
The Border Guards also arrested early Thursday, two people who tried to infiltrate from Jordan into Syria and referred them to concerned authorities.
