Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, but they will remain below their annual average, therefore cold and partly cloudy conditions will continue across the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said .
Daytime temperatures forecast in Amman for today will range between a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 2 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the southern areas will reach 9 degrees hitting zero after midnight. In the Gulf of Aqaba they will register 24 degrees dropping to 11 at night, the JMD said.
Similar conditions will continue to prevail over the weekend with clouds at low altitude, bringing scattered showers across the country and southwesterly moderate winds. Temperatures are expected to further after midnight creating frost over the hilly areas, the Badia region and the eastern plains, the JMD added.
