Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold and partly cloudy conditions are expected to prevail across the Kingdom on Saturday with rain accompanied with thunder and lightening, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief.
Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly moderate, with frost formation over the hilly areas, the Badia region and the eastern plains.
Maximum temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach 10 degrees Celsius, dropping to a minimum of 3 degrees at night, in the northern regions they will range between a high of 13 degrees and a low of 2, while in the southern parts they will go up to 12 degrees during daytime, sliding to 1degree at night.
Mercury levels expected in the Gulf of Aqaba will reach18 degrees dropping to 10 degrees at night, the JMD added.
A in temperatures is forecast over the next two days, but it will continue to be cold all over the country with rainfall at times, the JMD added.
Light snow is expected to begin falling Monday night over the northern highlands, while winds will be southwesterly to westerly moderate, turning to brisk at times, the JMD added.
