Jordan expresses solidarity with Turkey after deadly blast

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan expressed solidarity with Turkey Saturday after a blast that occurred near a bus in central Turkey, killing 13 soldiers and wounding 48 other people.

A vehicle rigged with explosives exploded next to the bus, which was transporting off-duty soldiers near Erciyes University in the central province of Kayseri.

Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani expressed the Jordanian government's condolences to the Turkish government and the families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery.

Momani, who is also the government's spokesperson, reiterated Jordan's call for intensifying international efforts, within a holistic approach, to deal with the danger of terrorism, which is a major threat to global security.
