Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Businessmen Association (JBA) is set to organize on December 13 the Jordanian - Omani Business Forum in Muscat in cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), upon an invitation of its Chairman Said Saleh Said Al Kayoumi.
The forum comes in implementation of the recommendations of the Jordanian - Omani Joint Ministerial Committee, which convened at the end of 2015, in conjunction with the 5th Arab – Indian Partnership Conference to be held in Muscat on 14-15 December. The Conference is organized in collaboration with the Oman Foreign Ministry, Arab League Secretariat, the Ministry of External Affairs in India, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Arab Countries (GUCCIAC) and Federation of the Arab Business (FAB).
The forum will be held with the participation of a JBA delegation and a number of businessmen representing the sectors of industry, trade, health care, education, energy, renewable energy, information technology and engineering consultancy.
According to a JBA press release issued Monday, the forum will explore opportunities to establish joint ventures, especially in the sectors of pharmaceuticals, tourism, information technology, health care and education, as well as holding bilateral meetings between Jordanian businessmen and their counterparts in the Sultanate.
