FM takes part in OIC meeting

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on Thursday attended an extraordinary meeting of the council of foreign ministers at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was held in Mecca to address the recent targeting of the holy city with a ballistic missile by the Houthis in Yemen.

During the meeting, Judeh reiterated Jordan's rejection of this blatant failed attack, while noting that the step was a flagrant provocation of the feelings of Muslims around the globe.

He also underscored Jordan's support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its efforts to defend its security. Judeh said that the political solution is the only way out of the Yemeni crisis, while affirming Jordan's rejection of attempts to impose status quo through the use of weapons.
