Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Interior Minister, Salamah Hammad, Monday, said Jordan and Bahrain constitute a unique model in joint work and that what unites both countries goes beyond inter-relationships that exist among other countries.
The minister made his comments as he welcomed his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifah, who is leading a delegation to Jordan to look into ways of advancing cooperation in the policing, political and security domains.
During the meeting, both sides spoke about mechanisms of assisting security and economic partnership as part of activating Arab integration in light of conditions in the region and the world.
The ministers also discussed means for closer cooperation to fight crime, terrorism and narcotics which pose a major threat against Arabs due to security deterioration in some countries.
Hammad expressed Jordan's readiness to provide Bahrain with expertise in various fields, noting that overcoming challenges facing Arab states requires broader cooperation among them.
The visiting minister said existing bilateral ties stem from great understanding on various challenges and issues of common concern. He said Jordan's sincere stances helped in boosting bilateral ties.
He added his visit comes in the framework of continued consultation and coordination between the two countries through the exchange of visits and expertise.
