Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Governor General of Canada David Johnston and his wife, on Saturday, arrived in Amman on a state visit to the Kingdom as part of a regional tour.

During the visit, His Majesty King Abdullah II and the governor general will hold talks on means to forge closer cooperation between Jordan and Canada in various fields, as well as the latest regional and international developments.

The governor general will also meet a number of senior Jordanian officials.

The governor general was welcomed upon arrival at the Queen Alia International Airport by Minister of Water and Irrigation and head of protocol, Hazem Al Nasser and other civic and military officials.
