King performs Eid Al Adha prayers

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday performed Eid Al Adha prayers at the Al Hashemiya Palace Mosque in Amman.

The King and the worshippers listened to the Eid sermon delivered by Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel, in which he highlighted the last sermon or farewell sermon delivered by Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Hilayel highlighted the meanings and messages delivered during that great and comprehensive sermon.

Upon arrival at the mosque, King Abdullah was received by top officials, including royal family members, the deputy prime minister, president of the Judicial Council, president of the Constitutional Court, the chief Justice, the army chief and directors of the departments of intelligence, public security, civil defence, acting director of the gendarmerie and other officials.
