Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The outcome of a recent meeting of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee were 'distinguished' and yielded results that would be 'positive' to the Kingdom, Nael Kabariti, Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce said Sunday.
He told Petra that economic topics and several outstanding issues were resolved.
"Prime Minister, Hani Mulqi, and his ministerial team led serious negotiations related to tourism and exports with the Egyptian side", said Kabariti.
He added, "Jordan's private sector pays considerable attention to the results that were made possible through the premier's and his ministerial team efforts to address challenges hindering its business." The upcoming stage would see growth in the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, he expected.
The joint Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee kicked off its 26th session in Cairo last Wednesday, and was co-chaired by Prime Minister Hani Mulqi, and his Egyptian counterpart, Sharif Ismail.
Several cooperation agreements and MoUs were signed in various spheres during the meetings.
