Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Mulki arrived in Cairo on Tuesday on a two-day official visit during which he will co-chair with his Egyptian counterpart Sharif Ismail tomorrow, the meetings of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee. During the meetings, the committee will discuss means to forge closer bilateral cooperation, mainly in the economic and trade fields. A number of agreements, memorandums of understanding, protocols and executive programs for cooperation will also be signed.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, Mulki was received by Egyptian Prime Minister Sharif Ismail, a number of ministers and officials as well as Jordan's ambassador to Egypt.
Mulki is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Jawad Anani, Labour Minister Ali Ghzawi, Transport Minister Yahia Kasabi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ibrahim Saif, State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani, Agriculture Minister Rida Khawaldeh and Tourism Minister Lina Enab.
The Jordanian delegation also includes Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Nasser Shreidah, Director General of the Prime Minister's Office, Omar Al Mufti, the prime minister's economic advisor Yousef Mansour as well as representatives of the private sector.
