Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The weather on Thursday is expected to be relatively hot in the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate with clouds at medium and high altitudes. Similar weather conditions are forecast to prevail over the weekend across the country, as temperatures remain above their thirties in all regions, the JMD said.

Daytime temperatures in the capital for today will reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius dropping down to 23 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 40 degrees plunging to 29 , the JMD said.
