Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Wednesday, granted entry to a sick Syrian child on the northeastern borders at Rukaban area for treatment in the Kingdom, after an investigation carried out by an army team on the child's case.
JAF said in a statement its team decided by itself to investigate the child's case, although it neither dealt nor received any information regarding the case before, in addition to the lack of communications with any official, human rights or international organizations related to the child.
As a result of the investigation, JAF found an ill child whom he was granted entry on the spot, the statement added, noting that he was from Palmyra, northeast of Damascus, and his family has never addressed any party about his treatment. A Syrian nationality, in a neighboring country and JAF is familiar with, was the one published everything about him.
The Jordan armed forces emphasized on continuing its humanitarian role toward refugees, and called on social media activists not to publish unverified news.
JAF expressed appreciation to those who published the sick child's picture, in order to provide him with the necessary treatment.
