Jordan-Iraq border crossing to reopen soon: says Iraqi official

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An Iraqi security team on Saturday visited a key border crossing between Iraq and Jordan to assess the situation before reopening it, an Iraqi official told the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Governor of the Anbar province, Sabah Karhut, said the team which comprised top officers checked on the crossing point and highway from the Iraqi side, adding that the crossing point will be opened soon to resume freight and passenger movement.
