Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A military source at the Jordan Armed Forces / Arab Army (JAF), Saturday has strongly dismissed reports circulated on social networks claiming that Border Guards have prevented the entry of a Syrian child from Al-Rukban refugee camp into the country for medical treatment.

Since the beginning of the Syrian influx into the country, the source said, JAF has provided free of charge medical treatment for hundreds of thousands of refugees.

Border Guards have not been asked to provide medical care to any Syrian refugee, and all reports saying that Jordan has prevented a child from getting medical treatment are rumors and completely false, the source said.

There is nothing to suggest that photos circulated on social networks are for a child from Al-Rukaban refugee camp, the source explained, adding that the Kingdom did not hesitate in any day to provide medical help to those in need, not only in Jordan but also in many places around the world.

JAF renewed that borders with Syria would remain a "closed military zone", and no one is allowed to approach without prior coordination.
