Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Mulqi Sunday ordered a halt to all appointments under the capital projects accounts at ministries, public institutions and independent government units.

The decision involves the automatic termination of all contracts of capital project employees upon the completion of a project or when its financing runs out.

The order is part of the government's directives to control spending and apply the rules of justice, transparency and equal opportunity and to abide by the instructions governing the appointment of employees to government positions under the civil service laws.
