Jordan condemns two terror blasts in Iraq

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The government on Sunday denounced as terrorist two blasts that hit the Iraqi capital Baghdad Saturday, killing and injuring scores of innocent civilians.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson, Mohammad Momani, stressed in a statement that such terrorist acts in different world countries are carried out by criminal groups seeking to spread fear, chaos and destabilize countries and cause more destruction and killings.

Such acts need coordinated and unified efforts in Iraq to confront these terrorists groups, Momani said.

The minister also said that Jordan stands with Iraq in all circumstances, extending the Kingdom's condolences to families of the victims and wishing the injured speedy recovery.
