Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Sunday, but it will remain pleasant in the hilly areas and moderate in other parts of the Kingdom.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk with clouds at various altitudes.
Temperatures will further rise on Monday and Tuesday to become around their seasonal average; therefore moderate conditions are forecast to prevail in most parts of the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Gulf of Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate with scattered showers in the southern parts of the Kingdom, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 32 degrees plunging to 22 at night, the JMD daily brief said.
