Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is forecast on Saturday to become 5-6 degrees above annual average; therefore warm conditions will continue to prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia regions and hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said that winds will be easterly light to moderate change to northwesterly moderate.
Similar weather conditions are expected to continue on Sunday with high clouds and westerly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday to become 7-8 degrees above their annual average; therefor it will be relatively hot in the hilly areas and hot in other parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be westerly to southwesterly brisk, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the department stated at its daily brief.
Maximum temperatures in Amman for the today will reach between a high of 30 degrees Celsius a low of 17 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 39 degrees plunging to 22 degrees at night.
