Jordanian police delegation paid visit to Bahrain

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Bahrain said that a delegation from the Jordanian General Directorate of Gendarmerie visited the gulf kingdom and discussed security cooperation.

The authorities explained in a statement published on the local news agency BNA on Saturday (April 16, 2016) the delegation was led by Assistant Director-General Brigadier Nael Ahmed Al Tamimi.

It added that the two sides "discussed joint training cooperation to enhance performance, stressing mutual resolve to bolster bilateral cooperation."

BNA further stated that the delegation "met Jordanian cadets who are training at the Bahrain Royal Police Academy."

"The delegation expressed its satisfaction and appreciation of the educational and training capacities available to the Jordanian students."

Royal Academy of Police (RAP) Commander Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa welcomed the delegation, praising "the cooperation and security cooperation between the two brother countries and the importance of exchanging visits to consolidate joint security expertise."
