Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday; therefore it will be warm across the Kingdom and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly moderate.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), relatively cold conditions will prevail during the night in most regions, while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
Temperatures will further rise on Tuesday and Wednesday to become 6-9 degrees above their annual average, but it will remain warm and springy in most parts of the country and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD added.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate.
Maximum temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 28 degrees Celsius dropping down to 18 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 37 degrees plunging to 21 at night, the JMD daily brief stated.
