Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), on Monday, will organize the joint Jordanian-Maltese economic forum, which will be sponsored by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and his Maltese counterpart, Joseph Muscat.
JCC President, Nael Kabariti, said the forum is an important step towards enhancing economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries, and recognizing available and untapped potentials in both countries.
The forum will focus on the Kingdom's business and investment environment, incentives and advantages to investors and businessmen, Kabariti said, adding that Jordan is a gateway to Maltese goods and products into the Middle East markets, as Malta can be a gateway to Jordanian products into European countries' markets.
He noted that the forum will see the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between the JCC and Malta's commerce agency, aims at developing bilateral relations between private sector institutions in both countries and raise the trade exchange volume, which is "still below the ambitions".
