Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold and partly cloudy conditions will continue to prevail Monday in the hilly areas, while it will mild in the Jordan Valley, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea with drizzles across the country.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust in the desert areas.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Tuesday, but similar conditions will continue to prevail. Therefore it will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and moderate in other parts of the country. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate with low clouds, the JMD added.
A further rise in temperatures is expected Wednesday, to become 4-6 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be moderate in the hilly areas and warm in other parts of the Kingdom with clouds at high altitudes. Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk stirring dust in the Badia regions, the JMD said.
Maximum temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 15 degrees Celsius and a low of 6 degree at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 25 , dropping down to 17 degrees at night.
