Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected today becoming 4-5 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, moderate conditions will prevail in hilly areas and warm in other parts of the Kingdom. High altitude clouds are also expected while winds will be south westerly moderate picking up at times, According to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The Kingdom will be affected be a relatively cold air mass on Sunday that will bring a substantial decrease in temperatures. Therefore, it will be relatively cold in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba. Light rain is also expected in the northern and central regions while winds will be westerly brisk raising dust in the southern and eastern regions.
Similar conditions will prevail on Monday with a continued chance for light rain in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 22 degrees Celsius and a low of 12 degrees, while the mercury level in Aqaba will mark a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees.
