Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Eyeglasses were spread recently at the Arabic markets which could filming ( voice and image) , the glasses also have an external memory to save vedio files and they can be transferred to a computer.

The glasses have a battery that make it film for 90 minutes, and 3 days to be loaded to any country.

A security source declared to Ammon , there are no complaints are being lodged till now of the existing of such glasses in the markets.

The source confirmed that any shop is selling such glasses, will be incurred to a legal accountability.

About the entry of these glasses to the Jordanian markets , we tried to contact with the manager of Standards and Metrology organization dr. Hayder al Zaben , but al Zaben and his department didn't answer last two days.

A legal point of view

The ex-chief of the Solicitor , the lawyer Rateb al Wazane confirmed to Ammon that filming without a permission considered as invasion of privacy.

He told Ammon , if picturing or filming is done in a security areas , a punishment may be executed about it.

He indicated that laws didn't treat a such topics due to its recency, there are no cases set in the courts , by filming with glasses by any citizens, and it is a new topic , laws didn't treat it yet.

A senior judicial source confirmed to Ammon , if filming happened at security areas, that would consider a crime , a law will punish it.

He added, there are articles at the law related with picturing or filming by using any machine whether glasses or other things, and if that was done for documents or papers related to the country, so it is considered as a crime to be peanaled by law.
