Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold and partly cloudy weather with drizzles will continue to prevail on Thursday mainly in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be westerly brisk blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, with fog formation over the highlands.
A rise in temperatures is expected on Friday to become around their annual average, but relatively cold conditions will continue in most parts of the country, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.
Winds will be southwesterly moderate with clouds at low altitudes on the northern and central regions, the JMD added.
Temperatures will further rise on Saturday to become 4-5 degrees above their seasonal average; therefore it will be mild in the hilly areas and relatively warm in the desert region and warm in the in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba . Winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk in the southern and eastern parts of the country, the JMD said.
Maximum temperatures in the capital for today will range between a high of 13 degrees Celsius dropping down to 5 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 26 degrees plunging to 16 at night.
