Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold conditions are expected in hilly areas on Saturday and Sunday, but it will be fair in the Badia and eastern plains and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD). Low altitude clouds are also expected while winds will be westerly moderate, the JMD added.
In the evening, cold weather will prevail across the Kingdom with partly cloudy skies and north westerly moderate winds. Frost formation is also expected after midnight in hilly areas, especially in the southern regions.
A rise in temperatures is expected on Monday becoming 5-7 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be fair in hilly areas and warm in other parts of the Kingdom with high clouds and south easterly moderate winds.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 19 degrees Celsius and a low of 6 degrees while mercury levels in Aqaba will reach 26 degrees Celsius dropping down to 14 degrees at night.
