Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday took part in a Business Council meeting, that brought together business leaders and executive of major companies in Florida, U.S.
The King also attended a dialogue session dubbed "Risk Management" on the sidelines of the Council's meeting, that tackled various global political and economic challenges and ways to address them.
King Abdullah discussed with businessmen participating in the meeting economic engagement with Jordan by taking advantage from a safe investment environment the Kingdom enjoys.
He highlighted investment opportunities and major ventures implemented in the field of renewable energy, infrastructure, transportation and information technology, through effective partnership with local, regional and global institutions.
In turn, the U.S. businessmen commended Jordan's achievements and hailed the Kingdom as a magnet for investment and an example of stability and security in the region and beyond.
They explained that their companies are keen to take advantage from investment incentives provided by Jordan.
The Business Council was founded in 1933 as an independent organization that has150 members. It focuses on exchanging views and turning recommendations into tangible actions to serve the public and private economic sectors in the U.S. and the world.
