Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Confidential sources revealed that 154.316 Israeli tourists visited Jordan in 2015.
The sources said that the number of the Israeli tourists who visited Jordan decreased from the last year with the percentage of 12.3% comparing with 176 thousands in 2014.
Also the tourists of (Arab 48) who have Israeli passports, were included. The sources said that the number of tourists who visited Jordan decreased in 2015 than 2014 at the same time, with the percentage of 9.7%.
The total number of visitors to Jordan was 4.8 millions last year , and 5.3 millions in 2014 .
The touristic income recorded last year a reduction with the percentage of 7.1 % and it was 4.07 billion us$ for 4.3 billion us$ for 2014.
Tourism sector redound with 13% of gross domestic product , it is a main source of hard currency that Jordan depends on , beside the money transfer from expatriates and to support the balance of payment.
