Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The UAE Foreign Ministry honored Jordan's Embassy in Abu Dhabi with the award for the Distinguished Extraordinary Cooperation.
The Jordanian Embassy won the award among 100 embassies and international organizations operating in the country following an evaluation made by a specialized committee to assess institutional competence.
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the award to Jordan's Ambassador to the UAE Nayef Al Zaidan during a ceremony that was organized by the UAE Foreign Ministry in the presence of UAE State Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash as well as senior officials.
Jordan's ambassador told Petra that the award reflects the success of the Jordanian Foreign Ministry and its missions around the world in adopting modern approach in institutional and professional performance. "It also reflects keenness of the Jordanian Foreign Ministry and its UAE counterpart to work in a one-team spirit," he said.
During the ceremony, awards were also presented to the embassies of Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Switzerland and South Korea.
