Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A mortar shell fired in the ongoing Syrian civil war on Monday struck a house in the Jordanian northern border village of Turrah.
Ramtha Governor Bader Al Qadi said the projectile penetrated the house's window and fell in the living room. However, it did not go off.
Clashes between the Syrian army and the armed opposition on Syria’s southern border with Jordan have become a nightmare for the residents of Ramtha and other northern districts.
Last Thursday, a mortar killed a 23-year-old street vendor, wounded several people and damaged some shops in Ramtha.
