Beggars Up Begging in Ramadan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Despite the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development to limit the presence of beggars in the streets particularly during the month of Ramadan, yet the numbers of begging children, women, and men on traffic lights and crowded shopping areas have not decreased.

The ministry warns citizens and drivers of beggars who lay in the middle of the street.

The Ministry of Social Development publicized the phone numbers of anti-beggary committees, and asks citizens to call and report incidents:
