Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Senate Monday passed the political parties bill which was referred to it from the Lower House.
The law includes measures for forming parties, terms of membership and termination, identify funding sources as well as reducing the number of founding members to 150 from 500, and lowering a founding member's age to 18.
The law prohibits political parties to be financially linked to any non-Jordanian body, or the party's activities to be directed from any third party.
It also bans party members from receiving donations in cash or any assistance in kind.
Further, the Senate also approved the Crown Prince Foundation draft law referred to them from the Lower House, with a recommendation for the government to subject all institutions like the Crown Prince Foundation to monitoring by the Audit Bureau.
They also agreed on the 2015 amended Dental Association Draft law to improve the dental profession.
