Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Famous Syrian poet Omar Al-Farra died on Sunday after suffering a heart attack. He was 66.

Saif Al-Farra, the poet's son, said his father died of a sudden heart attack, which he termed resulted due to his sadness at what is happening in his country, especially Bosra theatre, where he held his meetings and most beautiful evenings of poetry."
