Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Exports of commodities and machinery from Jordanian free zones in May 2015 stood at JD234 million, according to statistics released by the Jordanian Free Zones Corporation.
The figures showed that the value of goods that were exported from free zones to foreign and local markets in May stood at JD93 million, including JD55 million to foreign markets and JD38 million to local markets.
The value of machinery exports in the same month reached JD141 million, with JD57 million destined for foreign markets and JD84 million to the local market.
A total of 12,769 units of machinery were also exported to foreign and local markets, including 5,253 to foreign markets and 7,516 to local markets.
